Blog Makeover + Faux Fur

One of my goals this year was to get all the kinks worked out on my blog. Et voilà! My blog received a makeover. Hopefully now it will be a lot easier to navigate and be a lot more mobile friendly.

Today I am going to talk about my love of faux fur.

It all started when I got to wear a fox around my neck for the role of Kitty in the Drowsy Chaperone. Since then I have been obsessed with it! Much to Tim’s dismay I might add. He has a distaste for anything that resembles a dead animal. Because of that fact, I wasn’t surprised last month when my proposal for faux fur Christmas stockings didn’t turn out in my favor. But there is always next year! And this determined girl is going to keep trying. (Faux fur everything!)

Because of my love for all things furry, I was so ecstatic to see all the great options that came out this winter. The jacket I am wearing below is from Forever21. They had an incredible variety of faux fur, and all items were very well priced. I also have to gush a bit about acid wash. It’s a subtle and refreshing way to spice up regular jeans, and a fun way to channel your inner 80’s. (What you can’t see in the pictures is that the jeans I am wearing are super high waisted! Jump for joy!)

I hope everyone is enjoying getting back into routine. I sure am. Now that the family and I are more settled, and the holidays are over, I have a lot of things I am excited to work into my routines this year. One of them is to blog at least twice a week!
